FBR Likely to Increase Property Rates in 42 Cities Across Pakistan

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is likely to raise valuation rates of immovable properties in 42 cities during the current month to bring them at par with the fair market value.

Sources told ProPakistani that the new valuation tables of properties will be issued by the FBR in September 2024. Earlier, the FBR had issued valuation tables on September 13, 2022.

According to sources, the FBR has proposed revision in 42 cities depending on location and fair market value of different parts of cities.

The FBR will increase valuation rates of properties in 42 cities covering:

  • Dera Ismail Khan
  • Dera Ghazi Khan
  • Faisalabad
  • Ghotki
  • Gujranwala
  • Gujrat
  • Gwadar
  • Hafiz Abad

  • Hyderabad
  • Islamabad
  • Jhang
  • Jhelum
  • Karachi
  • Kasur
  • Khushab
  • Lahore
  • Larkana
  • Lasbela
  • Lodhran
  • Mandi Bahauddin
  • Mansehra
  • Mardan
  • Mirpurkhas
  • Multan
  • Nankana
  • Narowal
