NUST Students to Get Training in Chip Design

At the time of writing, Ministry of Federal Education and National University of Sciences & Technology have declared a marvelous project to train first locally trained FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) chip designers in Pakistan.

The program is first of its kind expected to produce a work-ready talent pool specific to chip design, crucial part in tech demand chain across the globe.

This fully funded program through the Ministry of Federal Education aims to provide holistic training at NUST's prestigious College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

The materials run the gamut of all things chip design — what else is there? Seriously, from this course you will learn about system-on-chip (SoC) development and integration tools as well as verification/validation.
